Change Is The Status Quo

First off, Happy New Year to all! Second off, if you’re reading this for the first time and it’s the middle of the summer, Happy New Summer to you.

Change is good. There’s always a reason why everything changes and the reason is to keep the status quo. No matter where you live, work, play, eat, etc. there will be change to keep things relatively the same. People will complain about a new procedure to do the same things yielding the same results before the update. Whether it’s a change for the better or not is up to you.

Status quo is good if you like a predictable routine, each day might be a tad different but pretty much as the day before and upcoming days. When I think about it, change is the status quo; you know it’s coming and have to make adjustments to deal with the difference and then it becomes routine. There’s nothing new under the sun, folks and 2024 won’t be any different. Here’s a few examples why:

  • There will be new names and faces we have to know and hear about.
  • Another election, continuing the circus we call a government.
  • A new family member or the loss of one.
